The
2006 State Farm Legends Luncheons
will again be held at
the Madrid
Theater
at 38th and Main
St. in Kansas City, Missouri. The luncheons feature
Kansas City Baseball Legend
Buck O'Neil and guests from the Royals and other
visiting Major League Baseball teams. Former Royals Pitcher
Al Fitzmorris hosts this event.
The State Farm
Legends Luncheons allows the audience to hear great baseball
stories told by Buck and his guests, as well as to ask them
questions. All proceeds of the State Farm Legends Luncheons
benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City.
The 2006 Luncheon
Series will be catered by the
Peach Tree Buffet Restaurant from
11:30 until 12:00. The program runs from Noon until 1:00
p.m. Tickets are $20.00 and may be purchased by calling
the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum at (816) 221-1920.
A Season ticket package for all five events is also available
at a reduced cost of $85.00.
